There's something quite atmospheric and eerie about these shots. They remind me of victorian fairy paintings, which is great.
Not too far away from where I live is where the Cottingley Fairies were "photographed".

I love fairies and things victorian. I'm familiar with the Cottingley Fairies. What a great prank that was. Very fairy-like.
